Bonnie K. Goodman is the Editor/Features Editor at the History News Network (HNN), a history news magazine where she has been working since 2004. She is the editor of five of the online magazine’s popular features, “History Buzz,” “Top Young Historians,” “History Doyens,” “On this Day in History,” and “Political Highlights.” At HNN Bonnie also has contributed over 25 articles on various topics relating to history in the news. Bonnie also freelances in writing and web design, and has contributed to the news sections of two international magazines on history.
Bonnie has a BA in History and Art History, and a Masters in Library and Information Studies, both from McGill University, and has done graduate work at Concordia University as part of the MA in Judaic Studies. Her major areas of interest are American Jewish History, modern American political history and Jews in antebellum and Civil War South. Bonnie is also an accomplished artist having painted in acrylics and oils since she was 12.
